Yes! We do house calls
It is an honor to be welcomed into the homes of pet parents residing in the greater San Diego area. In addition to the convenience for busy pet parents, or out of necessity should you no longer be able to lift, carry, or transport your pet to the vet, a veterinary house call has many benefits for your pets, too:
There are minimal distractions during a house call visit.
Your pet is evaluated in their usual living environment which can provide additional insight and help us create a more customized treatment plan.
Both dogs and cats are more relaxed when surrounded by the comforts of home.
We can provide most veterinary services on a house call – mobile basis. However, there are certain instances (anesthetic procedures, x-rays, some emergencies, etc.) in which we must refer you to either an emergency clinic, to our own full-service Clairemont veterinary hospital, or to a specialist.
Here are the veterinary services we provide on a house call basis at this time:
Exams (wellness and illness)
Vaccinations ~ Shots
Blood, Urine and Fecal Lab Tests
Medications – preventative as well as therapeutic
End-of-Life Care and Euthanasia
If you are reading this, you may be facing one of the most difficult decisions a pet parent has to make. Please know that we are here to help you through this time. We can help you evaluate your pet, create an end-of-life plan, and when the time comes we can help your beloved pet pass over in the comfort of their own home, in your lap, or maybe a special sunny spot in your yard. We’ve partnered with San Diego Pet Memorial Park to help with aftercare arrangements.
Here are the areas we serve at this time:
U.T.C. University Town Center
Even if you don’t see a city near you listed, please call 858-914-1934 and we’ll do our best to help you.
